Backups protect your website from accidental changes, server issues, and security incidents. EnrolWeb provides automated daily backups and lets you create and restore backups on demand.

EnrolWeb automatically backs up your shared hosting account daily. Backups are retained for a set number of days depending on your plan.

Full copy of your public_html and other directories.

MySQL/MariaDB databases used by your site.

Create a manual backup

Open cPanel

Sign in to your EnrolWeb hosting dashboard and open cPanel.

Go to Backup

Under the Files section, click Backup or Backup Wizard.

Choose a backup type

Select a full account backup, or choose a partial backup (home directory, databases, or email forwarders).

Download the backup

Save the backup file to your local computer or send it to a remote server via FTP.

Restore a backup

Open the Backup tool

In cPanel, open Backup or Backup Wizard.

Upload the backup file

Under the restore section, choose the type (home directory, database, forwarders) and upload your backup file.

Confirm the restore

Wait for the restore to complete. You’ll receive a confirmation once finished.
Restoring a backup overwrites current files and databases. Download a fresh backup before restoring an older one, just in case.
Store important backups off-server (on your computer or in cloud storage) so you can restore even if there’s a server issue.
